Are you married and you want to be truly truly happy...extremely happy? Love. That's the formula LOVE.
And where should you experience this firsthand and most frequently? Of course at home with your spouse and family.
Why do I say this? The very first miracle of Jesus is the changing of water into wine at the wedding in Cana.
And not just another wine. The best wine .. Imagine ordinary water in a big jar filled to the brim, and not just one , but many. Get the picture. It is a graphic portrait of a huge, overflowing blessings to a couple that shares LOVE. love shared between HUSBANDS and WIVES.
Why LOVE? Mother Mary told the attendants before Jesus performed His first miracle that is not even in His time yet, "just do what Jesus tells you"... And in all that Jesus proclaim and preach...bottomline is always LOVE. That is what He is telling the newly weds in Cana, that is what He is telling the crowds, and His disciples, that is what He is telling us... just LOVE.
And when we love one another most especially our spouse, the miracle starts to happen. The blessings starts to flow and it is overflowing filled to the brim like the wine they had on that wedding in Cana.
So, after reading this blog... go to your spouse side, give him or her a tight hug and a kiss! You'll immediately feel the miracle starts to happen!
God bless!

Happy New Year Revelry...
Happy New Year to all, and I hope your fingers are still complete, and your nose did not get black sooth in it.... pardon the grossness.
This New Year is the first time I did not have any fireworks and it was indeed a struggle. I see beautiful fireworks all around me from afar as I live in a subdivision where my neighbors are some hundred meters away. My mind say, why don't you have some of your own fireworks explosions? But my heart tells me, do not indulge in this yearly revelry to welcome in a new year as it has many ill effects.
First and foremost is that it is a waste of money. I would reckon hundred of millions of pesos are thrown away in this practice every year, and somebody pockets that money. However, you buy and burn your money and explode it. In the process of exploding these firecrackers some people may even be injured or you yourself might get injured or home and properties damaged. This is more serious money wasting.
Second, I'm concerned with our dogs Futzee and Fu. Dogs are particularly affected as they have very very sensitive hearing and an explosion from a firecracker can be likened to a speaker in full placed directly into your eardrums... how does that feel to you? If all od these dogs and cats, can organize themselves, I'm sure they will be on the streets with their placards to stop this annual practice.
Thirdly, and the most neglected part all the time as this is outweighed by the pleasure of doing the first two damage is the environmental impact. Imagine the smoke, sooth and trash fireworks leave the environment. I saw the darkened clouds early in the morning after of new years eve and it was gloomy. The sky is not so happy about the smoke that has stayed up there.
I was so happy to see one barangay in Manila, Philippines, that organized street party from collection of money that in the past years was just wasted in buying firecrackers. I hope more people do the same.
We may be just a minority among many who still enjoys thrashing and bashing our own money our animals and environment... and I did struggled this very first year.... But, I know with this simple blog and through people who will spread this, I can be of help to our own pockets, our pet dogs and most especially to our dear environment.
God bless!
